July Updates from ROGUE330…

It’s the first year that JO Volleyball offers and tryouts and contracts are dominating the July calendar. All this stuff used to happen in November here in the 330, but here we are.

Here’s our plan for July..

Step One – Let people know that we exist, we mean business, and we are focused on providing an excellent Volleyball club experience for players and their families.

Step Two – Invite the people we already know who we believe would add something special to ROGUE330 from the very start. We’re thrilled with the contracts we have signed and the players that are leaning our way. If you’re interested in ROGUE330, please email our director, Gary Underwood (gary@rogue330.com)!

Step Three – Have fun and get ready for the high school volleyball season! Lots of players are busy with summer leagues, tournaments in Sandusky, camps, and two-a-days. We support any and all of our local volleyball teams, including North Canton, Lake, Louisville, Perry, Fairless, Green, Alliance, Lake Center Christian, Northwest, Marlington, GlenOak — the list could go on for days! Good luck this season!

Step Four – Plan our 23-24 tournament schedule! We will soon release our plan for the upcoming club volleyball season so teams and families can start making plans and seeing the dates. We will stick to the 330, and add a couple of fun tournament trips to Sandusky or Cleveland or Columbus!

Step Five – Finalize our coaching staff! The 16U team is set, and the 18U team is connecting with 3-4 candidates this week. We want each team to have a coaching staff consisting of a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and an Intern-Coach (College-Age) so that all of our players can receive support, direction, and teaching.

Step Six – Let all of our players and families know that we (as Director and Coaches) cannot initiate contact or conversations with players or potential offers during their high school seasons, per OHSAA rules. But if the player or family reaches out to us, it’s all good – so, yeah, reach out to us anytime!

I’m sure there are other steps… but we are focusing on these… and excited for this new adventure!! Thank you to all of you who are committing or considering the ROGUE330 way for this upcoming club season!
