Rogue330’s Story — Three years ago, a bunch of us started talking about the need for more volleyball opportunities in our area. Several local coaches entered the conversation, and the dream of Rogue330 was born! In 2023-24, Rogue330 launched with two teams (16U and 18U), excited to find our place in the world of OVR/USAV volleyball. In 2024-25, we expanded to four teams (16U, 17U, 17U, and 18U) who learned how to compete and win at some higher levels and tournaments. In 2025-26, Rogue blossomed to six teams (14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, 18U, 18U) and every team made gold brackets, contended for tournament medals, and finished their seasons on very high notes – it was an absolute blast! So here we are, entering our FOURTH season, looking to expand to 8-10 teams from 13U on up, helping players grow and empowering our teams to win – and celebrate those wins at our huge end-of-season awards banquet in May! We are so grateful for the coaches, players, and families who have made Rogue330 a rapidly-growing force of encouragement, excellence, and enjoyment of this tremendous game we call Volleyball!

Our gym and our coaches are committed to being FOR players and not ever “against” them. Rogue330’s Motto – Humble, Hungry, Hustle! Let’s start with HUMBLE — If you’re cocky and have a lot of personal demands heading into club season, then we aren’t the club for you. Let’s talk about HUNGRY – If you don’t spend any personal time in conditioning or working on your own skills, then please find a club for casual players. Let’s think about HUSTLE – if you like to take plays off, blame your teammates, and stand there while the ball hits the ground next to you, then you’re looking at the wrong website. Rogue330 is for humble players who love their team… hungry players who dream about volleyball… and hustle players who give 100% all the time.
Rogue330 Coaches – We look to find coaches who LOVE people, LOVE volleyball, and don’t act like they know everything. Rogue coaches and staff are carefully chosen and supported to treat players with respect, encouragement, honesty, and joy. We expect our coaches to have fun and love what they do!! Fortunately, Rogue has had some amazing coaches and staff in our first three years as a club! Most of our teams have assistant coaches who help with skill development and player communication throughout the season.
Our Teams: Our teams are built through personal connections, open gyms, and even scouting local high school games. A Rogue330 team usually has 10 players on the roster and the occasional “part-time” player or need for a younger player to “play up” for a tournament or two.
Our Practices: We practice once or twice a week starting in November, but will probably have some open gyms and scrimmages in November and December! Our club hosts practices at SPIKE Sports PLEX in Canal Fulton, located at 709 Elm Ridge Ave. Practices for the upcoming 2026-27 season will take place on MONDAY and Thursday evenings, with specific times of 75-85 minutes for each team.
Our Tournaments: We strategically choose to enter tournaments that push our teams to play against tougher competition and help us improve gradually throughout the season. We don’t want to over-schedule or over-travel, and we value parents’ input on schedule planning and travel details. Most of our tournaments are hosted by the OVR (Ohio Valley Region of the USA Volleyball Junior Olympic division). For the upcoming 2026-27 season, we are choosing to enter tournament venues and locations that provide the most safe and supporting environment for all teams involved.
Our Tryouts (read: “Open Gyms”): Rogue tryouts operate mostly like open gyms, with tryouts for 15U and 16U on July 10, 2026 and tryouts for 14U on July 11, 2026. Dates and times for other teams and registration information can be found on the Rogue Instagram account (@rogue330volleyball).
Our Costs: Season Fees include tournaments, practices, coaches, some team gear and at least one team fun event during the season. Our basic Season Fee for players ages 16U team and up for the 2025-26 season is $1,775 for full-time players. Each team may have additional costs for first-year player jerseys and/or backpacks, and we work with each player/family on this.
We offer financial assistance and scholarship opportunities for players and families with unique circumstances and we are grateful for donors and sponsors who make that possible! We also do 3-4 fun and competitive fundraisers throughout the course of the season, to help your family make money back or contribute to others in the club!
